Reflection of Week 1

Several tasks are given for the first week of lecture which are:
1. Register Official Email
2. Register Official Facebook account and Facebook Group
3. Join Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ge1155ipg/)
4. Create Yahoo Group
5. Sign up a blog

I am new Yahoo user so I found it is interesting to explore it. Especially for the Yahoo Group, it is a very convenient application. What I need to do is just create a Yahoo Group and invite my friends to join it. All my group members would be able to view my post and file(s). By doing this, the group members will be able to view and download the file(s) from my group. They will be notified by email also regarding the latest update of my group. However, I faced some problem when I use Yahoo Groups. Some of my friends did not receive my invitation although I sent the invitation to their Yahoo emails. Hence, I need to send the invitation twice.

I have my personal Facebook and Blog and hence I do not face much problems on creating new Facebook account and Blog. Another thing is that I find interesting to do my reflection on blog. For the email account, the new thing I learn is the way to put my signature at the bottom of my email.

Besides that, I also learn about the software and hardware of my computer. This enable me to know my computer in a detailed way. As a conclusion. Computer in Education is a really interesting as it enables me to make a lot of exploration towards internet and also my computer.

  1. I would like to correct this sentence: "However, I can't upload my file(s) straight away to the group. I need to compose an email with attachment by using my Yahoo email and send it to the group's email. "

Actually, we can directly upload the file to the group. Just by clicking "file" button and
    Choose:
Add File | Create Text File | Create Folder

Now, I know. Thank you Madam Siti Fatimah, our lecturer form UKM to correct me about that, thank you madam. ^^
